A great bike

Assembly was a breeze. So far I have only used the bike in assist mode -- it helps a lot on hills and the battery goes a long way. Even though speed is electronically limited to 20mph, that is the maximum realistic speed in stop and go traffic anyway.

Beautifully designed, ultra light, quality and incredible price

Really like this bike. Previously I had a juiced CrossCurrent which had a 750w motor and suspension etc and huge battery so was apprehensive how I’d feel about this. But I prefer this bike. It’s super sleek, and because it’s lightweight and with great road bike tires you don’t need much help from the motor. It’s the right balance of motor power vs pedal power. Love the matte black finish. Can ride it quite fast without any motor assistance. And found that 20mph is actually fine for getting round Austin trails. I don’t really miss the additional 8mph I had before.

Nice crew

The staff (Ford) helped me get sized for a bike frame, and then the bike arrived from the factory over the weekend even though Monday was a holiday! I expected it to take much longer. If I need a onewheel or something one day, I'll get it from here. A lot of local shops tell me they have good Aventon support too.
