I wasn't sure how much my face needed this concealer until I tried it. I absolutely love everything, Tarte! The way it leaves my face looking helps my self-esteem 100%. I highly recommend this concealer to anyone in doubt.

Creamy

I like how it glides on so easily and helps with the fine lines around the eyes and is not messy at all. Because it is a little bit more creamy you do have to put a little bit more effort into blending it, but it’s not that bad and meshes well with my other makeup. I would purchase again.

Not so thrilled…

Let me start off by saying that I love Tarte as a brand and everything it stands for. I’ve had great experiences with many of their products, so I was excited to try the Shape Tape Concealer. Unfortunately, this one fell short of my expectations. On the positive side, the shade match was perfect, and the formula blended effortlessly into my skin without looking patchy. However, the wear time was disappointing. After only a couple of hours, I noticed it had started to fade and required a touch-up, which isn’t what I expect from a full-coverage concealer. I also found that the formula isn’t very buildable. Adding another layer tended to make it look heavier rather than providing seamless additional coverage. While I can see why so many people enjoy this concealer, it just didn’t perform the way I hoped it would. Overall, it’s not a bad product, but considering the price and the hype surrounding it, I expected better longevity and buildability.
