Love this pattern!

This pattern was so nice as a beginner! It came together beautifully. One change I did make when sewing the pocket was I sewed all the way around and turned right side out and top stitched the hole. I fussed with the bottom side open and I found with the material curling all over, it was so finicky to get it where it needed to be. So the way I did it to finish was MUCH easier. Otherwise love it and need a bigger size!

I really enjoyed making this sweater dress and plan on making many more for my daughter. The pattern is well designed and the measurements are accurate (I usually size up a lot for my kid, that's why it's so long). I modified the hood to make a pixie hood, but otherwise followed the directions. I would recommend installing the front pocket before sewing the sleeves and back, just because I find it easier to have less bulk when I use my coverstitch machine.

I used the pattern to make a penguin dress for my daughter on world book day. It turned out ready well. Quick and easy to sew and she looked really cute in it
