Fun On-Trend Dress

Loved this dress in the pictures and also once made up. Bought it right after release and made it up in a soft knit. Love it. It runs true to age/size and has a more relaxed shoulder and bodice than the T-shirt dress. Looking forward to making in a winter version to wear with tights.

It's a bit funny mummy!!!

I really wanted to see this dress work. It's funky shape is a playful opportunity to try something new. I think selecting the right fabric that has a similar quirky playful character is really important for this pattern. I loved it. It's personality is in the wearing. On the hanger it does not have the same appeal and on my market stall I think had the marmite effect. I will absolutely will be making more.

I made a sweet little galaxy print dress from this pattern for a friends baby shower and it was a huge hit. She didn't even realize I had made it until I told her. This pattern goes together quickly and looks great! Llove the mod shape!
