Phoenix SX - Power - Widebody

This paddle is very good. It's my main now. I've played more than a dozen paddles over the last 2 years, looking for a paddle to replace my main (Selkirk Luxx). I love the Luxx, but wanted something with a little more offensive capability. This is it. Ignore the YouTube reviewers. This paddle is NOT difficult to control. Yes, it is poppy, but that is an asset at the kitchen. It is NOT overly powerful on full swings, but is very responsive for touch shots. This paddle never surprised me. It's very predictable. I can mostly control this paddle as well as the Luxx, but get improved offensive capabilities up at the kitchen. This paddle is way better than the YouTube reviewers give it credit for. I'm playing with more confidence now, and feel more enabled to play aggressive pickleball now. Large sweet spot too -- especially if you add perimeter weight. Low swing weight, so it's really fast at the kitchen, but still has plenty of power to put the ball away. Great feel/dwell. Not as stiff as reviewers say, in my opinion, and I'm accustomed to playing with the softest paddle known to man -- the Selkirk Luxx. Very, very good paddle. Underappreciated by the community. Deserves way more love than it has gotten. I bought 3 more. This will be my main for a while now.

Excellent paddle for any level of player

Overall an excellent quality paddle. Has a very large sweet spot and provides consitsnt and controled hits.

A counter punchers dream paddle. Practically a cheat code in fast hands. Takes some time to effectively learn resets.
