One of my favorite things about &Liebe is that Shimizu seems to sell first editions of his products. I mean this as a compliment: he announces a new product and we can purchase it almost immediately. It feels very raw and very fresh. And while there may be future versions of the product that include revisions or improvements, the one we purchase at any given time is always beautiful and capable.
This case, for example, is lovely. But it would not surprise me to discover that Shimizu may find ways to make it even better. I get a very strong sense that his products are like his children—he devotes love and respect to each of them, with the full knowledge that they may grow and evolve in the future. And because the company is small, those evolutions can happen quickly. For me, this just makes the whole thing more exciting.
I would respectfully suggest the addition of a shoulder strap, but that is very minor.
