Cobra Monitor

Wonderful loudspeaker, which is my personal endgame. My last speaker was a Ascendo Sytem E, which was a very potent box, but not nowhere near as good and lively sounding as the Cobras. Especially the Bass Fundament is equally low, as the full size floor stander from Ascendo, which has the quadruple of box volume compared to the Cobras. The nearly holographic soundstage sound very natural with a huge depth of instrumentation. The Cobras are sounding very good with all my favourite music: Funk, Soul, Indie, Jazz, even sparsely orchestrated singer-Songwriter music sound full and with a wonderful warmth. To be highlighted is the fantastically adjustated AMT tweeter, which in my opinion has been excellently integrated. I find it neither tiring nor too sharp sounding. With its detailed resolution and great integration into the entire sound image, it has been the last buying argument to replace my old speakers. Great development for all unbiased who want to be surprised by the sound which "printed" speaker housings are capable to perform from the start. From me there is the maximum rating, which also applies to the flawless service and the good accessibility of Virtual HiFi and Grzegorz as developer! The Cobras came well packed in sturdy wooden crates. Simply put the Cobras are amazing. They have NO discernable box sound or any character of their own - change the ancilliary equipment and they can sound quite different - you hear what you are feeding them. They are effortlessly dynamic. They have the ease, scale and body of large floor standers, and are more seamless and coherent than most of them - in fact i havent heard anything "better" at less than 5 or 6 times the price of the Cobras. (not just my opinion - I had a hifi designer over to listen to his latest amps and he kept on getting up to look for the subs or the speakers that "we were really listening to". He really couldn't believe that the small Cobras were producing the sound he heard.) Just be aware that to get the absolute best out of the Cobras, you need to use the same sort of care, in your positioning and set-up of them, that went into the design and construction of them. If you do set them up correctly they are simply incredible speakers.

Bin absolut happy mit meine Cobra's, ob Musik oder Heimkino macht einfach nur Spaß und spielt wie viel größerer Lautsprecher.
