What I like about this twin bed for my toddler: 1. Sturdy & safe for long-term use 2. Non toxic finishes 3. Round edges all around 4. Bed height low enough for my toddler to climb up independently 5. Security rail option – my daughter moves a lot, so this was a must! 6. Aesthetically pleasing – wanted a beautiful piece of furniture that is also highly functional 7. Extra storage space – wanted under-the-bed-storage space.

Solid piece of furniture
Bought this for my 3 yo. He absolutely loves it, and loves using his bench on the end of the bed. The bed and trundle came in 4 boxes. It was a bit of a time commitment to assemble, but the directions were straightforward and easy to follow. All parts were there, and assembly was smooth. The finished product is a solid bed that is a beautiful addition to the bedroom.

It's a beautiful bed. Assembly was straightforward; I did it without any help, but I strongly recommend using a power drill - I had blisters by the end, because I used a screwdriver (there are a LOT of tiny screws). But we are really happy with it. :)
