18.5 WSM Charcoal Ring and Door

I used the subject charcoal ring and door yesterday for the first time to cook a brisket flat with my 18.5 WSM. The Charcoal Ring added a lot more volume for charcoal and the door didn't leak like the original. Collectively, I was able to run a 12 1/2 hour cook on the brisket without having ash block some of the air intake and still had charcoal left over. I am very happy.

Haven't used the ring yet, but I can tell this will be better than what came with WSM

The extra capacity makes it perfect for cold weather smoking. Don't have to add any charcoal on a long cook. It should last a long time made out of stainless!
