KODACOLOR 200 - 35mm Film

Great alternative for Kodak Gold

I primarily use Kodak Gold 200 for colour, this is just as good. The contrast is great and the colours are warm. Would definitely use again.

Lovely new film, which I shot in Malta on my latest trip. I was expecting it to be more similar to ColorPlus, as they are essentially supposed to be the same emulsion, just slightly tweaked, but it seems to me that Kodacolor actually leans a bit cooler and is slightly less saturated. The colours are quite pleasant and pretty natural, though I would personally still prefer Gold 200 or ColorPlus in most scenarios, but there definitely are situations where I’d love to shoot this stock again, so I’d recommend giving it a try for yourself
