2006 Menghai Tea Factory "7452" Ripe Pu-erh Tea Cake

My first ripe pu erh love

I ordered the 07 cake years back and it made me completely fall in love with the Menghai brand. Tried the 11 cake, while it was good it didn’t hit as high. This however, the 06 cake, this is simply amazing, and hits closer to what I remembered. Toffee, sweet caramel, it’s smooth as ever, and no strong basement/earthy notes. Worth every penny, thank you YS for selling this!

Great entry into Ripe Pu-erh

As a new Ph-erh fan I asked Yuannan Sourcing to choose some samples for me. As one of the samples this was a great starting point. I enjoied the tea very much. Great rich flovor with long lasting aroma and mouth feel.
