Great book. Super illustrations and candid photos which felt very personal and not corporate. The level of text was just right, as are the results tables. Very informative and is the type of book to dip into at any time. Well done on a well presented book.

A must buy book
If I can start with a few minor gripes, a little more colour may have been desirable, some captions are a little lacking in information, I would personally have liked to have seen more information on the manufacturers involved such as GRD, Crossle, Pilbeam etc, maybe room for volume two perhaps However the positives far out weigh the negatives, the book is filled with fabulous period photos, results table contains all the information required, driver profiles are excellent as is the gallery of drivers contained within each chapter, programme covers and period stickers are a nice touch. It can only be hoped the publisher may be able to produce a book of similar quality on F5000, Formula Atlantic or F3 A fabulous must buy book, do not miss out, the quality will be enjoyed long after the the price paid is forgotten.

great book
but theres a couple of errors in the captions p62 Beckwith no 9 is actually Brian Hart no 8 on a church farm brabham p79 and theres the same mistake in many sources the no 24 is Gerry Birrell on a bt23 of Ecurie Ecosse , peter Westbury was no 32 that day on a Felday bt30.p145 no 5 is tim Schenken not Reutemann and finally p489 the third guy is Philippe Streiff , hoping that you will do more books like that on the F2 of 1947 to 1960 for exemple or even Formula Atlantic or F3
