Lettuce Red Velvet Organic

Red Velvet Organic Lettuce has been excellent. Tastes great and has not bolted even though I planted it late in the season. Still picking and eating in early August and we have had some hot days!

Love this lettuce

I quickly threw some of the Red Velvet lettuce seeds into my raised bed hoping to get some lettuce despite the days of rain, followed by days of extreme heat. To my surprise and delight, most of the seeds germinated and grew quickly. We keep taking a few leaves from each plant daily and it still keeps growing bigger! And it is so pretty to look at, too. I love this lettuce.
