Shiki Futon Mattress - Cotton

In love!

My partner and I have slept on our new futons for about 2 weeks now, and we absolutely love them! They are fluffy and so beautifully made. We also got amazing customer service from Takaokaya, as they helped us get our futons fast and in time for our move in in our new house in Tokyo. Ordering my new futon online was so easy and I was kept informed on the delivery process. This is the second time to order and the quality of the items is excellent. All items arrived on time and without any issues. Very happy with the quality and service.

My sleep has improved!

I have been sleeping on this for about 6 months now, and I love it! I feel stronger, more flexible and having less back pain after getting rid of my "regular" bed. I use it with tatami mats, and it never gets too hot or to cold (in Norway we have weather in between both ends of the scale).The calming routine of making the fotun (by just folding it out) is a melatonin boost at bedtime. Have tried it all when it comes to sleep advice (as i have always struggled with sleep), but nothing has made me be happier about bedtime than this. The craft of the futon is flawless and durable, and it still looks and feels new. The cotton stays in place and the futon plumps up to its original thickness when i air it in the sun. I am very inspired by the craft and art of these, and was super exited about the handwritten signatures on the tag from the makers of my spesific futon, and the handwritten postcard! I really appreaciated those gestures, thank you!
