This is iris in a three-piece suit with lapels to the shoulders. Irisoir is all about the earthy, vegetal bitterness of iris root, so dark and dense it makes me think of brown spirits, like rum distilled in an alchemist's flask. Up close, there’s a distinct note of burning rubber. This is art, certainly, but wearable? I'm not so sure. In future, I'll be appreciating my sample on the blotter rather than skin.
