BOG - 'Patriot' Straight Razor in Black Resin Scales

Well built, nice feel, good Shaver

So far so good. I am not that experienced using a straight razor as I have been on and off with it. I took a break when I was traveling overseas as it was hard to get the hot water consistently and the water had a lot calcium so the blades tended to dull rather quickly. The razor itself has a nice heft which helps it glide nicely. It has a well built feel to it and you don’t feel like you have to treat it gingerly. I love the jimps that provide a secure grip. The scales are flexible, yet not slippery. Overall a nice razor.

The blade arrived shave ready, and unblemished. Shaving has never been so easy. My only complaint is that there is no case available without an additional charge.

Of course this is a great razor. Does it remind you of another brand of American made razors? Yep, you guessed it! And yes they are the same other than the name.
