Square Lens Hood for Leica Summilux 50mm E43 (Black Aluminum)

Beautifully made and very well thought out. The overall build quality is excellent, including the cap, which feels premium as well - although it could perhaps fit just a touch tighter. The hood itself is secured via a small screw mechanism that tightens an inner ring rather than clamping directly onto the lens, which I very much appreciate from a design perspective. Over time and with regular use, it does occasionally need to be re-tightened slightly, but nothing dramatic. What ultimately made this the right choice for me is the fact that it comfortably accommodates a filter - something the original hood unfortunately does not. On top of that, it simply looks fantastic on the lens.
