So far, so good

Only have had it about a week and have done 2 complete runs; tomato-onion-green pepper AND white peach slices. Bananas are running now. A bit of a learning curve out of the box but getting there! Still newbies!

Issues

Its taken a bit of learning curve to get into production. I get a notification everytime a new load begins that the temp sensor for trays is disconnected. I have learned through trial and error that I have to repush the plugs into the socket even though it does not appear that the plug has moved. I believe that the changing temperatures in drying and defrost is pulling the socket out slightly and initiating the notification. I was surprised and disappointed in the actual amount of oil vapor emitted from the pump. It permeates the whole house from the basement. I tried the microcloth and it cut down the odor a bit. But not enough. So I ordered your replacement filter and hope that it will take care of the problem. For $185.00, I would have preferred to have the better filter on the machine i ordered even with additional cost less credit a credit for tge lesser filter. Even with issues, the final product is very good.

Medium Elite - finally

After literal years of research and back and forth we purchased our machine. Despite a long wait for shipping outside of BA’s control, I’d order it again. Thanks to the internet, the learning curve isn’t horrible and we’ve been running ours nearly non-stop with amazing results. This addition to our homestead is beyond valuable and makes garden preservation so much easier than just canning or relying on freezers. Communication is great once you initiate it so don’t hesitate to reach out, and don’t wait to hear first if you have questions. The staff was responsive and helpful every time we reached out.
