Very nice
We've received the large freeze drier and it's working great so far. Love easy set up and running qualities.

I'm doing my best to get used to this new FD... I really don't understand how to choose "recipes" for various products.
My experience with my former HR was simple, put the food in, press start & it showed freeze cycle, vacuum freeze then dry. With the BA it goes from freeze to dry with no indication of when it's actually vacuum freezing/ sublimating. This is confusing to me.
There is no recipe option for vegetables.
The delicate cycle dry temps are low compared to what I was used to. Most batches I've run were 120-125 dry temp.
I've watched almost every YouTube video for BA and there's no dialog on which settings, temps etc to choose.
A batch of pre frozen chopped cranberries took over 48 hours which seemed excessive. FD shredded Parmesan cheese took 36 hours
Def more time than I am used to.
I'm wanting to love this new unit but feeling frustrated.
When pausing the machine to check for dryness, the trays are usually COLD like it's still in the freezing mode. Sometimes one or 2 trays are cold & the others are warm?
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Top notch
I started with a competitor, and had trouble out the gate.. researched Blue Alpine reviews and the proof is undeniable. I decided to switch and purchased the medium, I knew within days I should have gone large and contacted customer service right away to see of it was too late! Phone answered by a person on the 3rd ring! And they not only met my crazy indecisive request they did it in less than 10 minutes with complete changes and upgrades! No hassle, no questions asked!
Fast forward to shipping, they produced and shipped my dryer in like 5 days! But it did sit in salt lake for a week and the shipping sorting center! No fault of Blue Alpine! The delivery man helped me get it in the house and unpackaged! Cause, Montana! And I have been on a roll since... there is a bit of a learning curve as you have more freedom for adjustments, but I am in love... trying to convince my husband I need another one!
