Exceptional
Not the best I’ve ever had, but certainly up there. Very quality coffee, excellent roast execution, tasting notes are spot on.
I’ve only made 2 espresso shots, 1:2.2, and the other 1:5, both very flavorful.
It’s rare to find a coffee that is this flavorful and also this flexible as far as recipe.
I can’t wait to find out what else is in store as I get this coffee dialed in.

Can’t get enough
I’ve had now a few experiences with anaerobic types, mostly of Ethiopian origin but these Ugandan beans have been a pleasant surprise! The tasting notes come correct with the fruitiness aspect - you’re getting deep, jammy grape flavors in the cup. I’ve dialed it in both for single shots & as cortados with great results - very highly recommended!

Phenomenal
My first purchase from Portrait, and for sure not my last. I usually use a blade grinder until reading their suggestion of using a burr grinder. Completely changed the profile. Glad I purchased 2 bags as this is my new favorite.
