WiiM Amp Ultra

Works GREAT with my old speakers. User friendly APP and excellent sound with Klipsch KG 5.2 full range speakers from college. Gorgeous unit and wife loves the look and sound from this unit as well. Nice engineering behind this unit.

Overall functionality, sound, and quality of the unit is excellent. My complaints are very far down on my list of concerns. I do wish it had a line-level analogue output, and more analogue inputs.

Enjoying my new Wiim Ultra Amp

I am enjoying my new Wiim Ultra Amp. I approached it tentatively -- I have not adjusted to the brevity of contemporary user manuals. I now have some favorite radio stations and they sound very good through the amp and a new set of speakers. The bass boost function noticeably improved the bass response on all platforms. I also use the Wiim amp with my TV.. Together with my new speakers the amp has improved the sound over that of a sound bar. I had a lesser experience with the toslink connection with my CD/DVD player. I have not yet to broach music or movie streaming (I can hear the cries of disbelief!!) but I will get there. The amp is not the problem; I am just too used to curated programming and do not wish to take the time to make my choices. I changed my mind re. this purchase many times. But I made the right decision and I am enjoying my Wiim Ultra Amp.
