Vantech Self-Contained Ratchet Tie-Down for H1 System

I am only putting a four star instead of a five because of the fact that I wish that the strap was wider. The quality of the strap currently is very good. I just wish it was an inch and a half or larger ,versus the one inch wide strap. The assembly of the product and the installation was easy. The parts seem to be very high quality and I’m glad that some of the parts are stainless steel so they will last out in the elements.

They are a great idea, but flawed. Although I use 4 of them (2 on each side of my truck rails to secure loads, they do not easily disengage. I had Uplift replace one, but 2 out of 4 still won't disengage without using a screwdriver. The match to my bars and metal machine quality is outstanding, however the actual gearing mechanism is flawed. Other reviews have said the same
