Always dry fit first before drilling!
Highly recommend you dry fit the product (mount to the hinge brackets first) and compare where the hole template is to where the true hole will be. Mine was off to the right by about a 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch. Glad we dry fit it first before drilling a hole otherwise we would have been off just a hair. Great product though. Holds both of my storage racks perfectly. My father in law wants to get one for his camper van now!

My adventure van build.
One of the best engineered aftermarket products I’ve found. I’m a DIY’er and the instructions, templates, and videos made it possible. Pricey? The engineering and precision could not be duplicated by an individual. You get what you pay for!

Nice craftsmanship.
This Ford Transit rear door panel arrived packaged to the hilt. They made sure this was going arrive in great shape. I did not trust the drill templates, the instructions were good however on my 2026, drilling a hole in the exterior door made me nervous. I dry fit the panel to the van and marked the exact hole location. Intuition and building experience paid off. It was time well spent to dry fit the panel because the template was not accurate. Perhaps the model year was too new. But I scratched my head after I drilled the exterior hole and studied the templates incorrect location. The estimated time of 2 hrs would close if not for a complete dry fit. I highly recommend a dry fit. I am a professional mechanic and an accomplished fabricator, thankfully this not my first rodeo and the project turned out perfect. I did not take photos but wish I had to assist in correcting an error. Great looking and functional panel.
