Now we’re talkin’. Incredible rod for swimbaits in the .5oz-2oz range (rating is true). Pulling it out of the rod tube It’s immediately clear care was put into this build. I was skeptical about a rod of this size, and worried it would be wimpy or too stiff because of its shorter length. Not so. It’s light, powerful and crisp with a nice deep taper and powerful bottom end.The KGB Lil’ Guy, 6” Trick, The Judo, Vitallion, Magdraft and TK are at home on this rod. I also throw mag sized spinnerbaits and squarebills on it. It’s super versatile. Even with a 150 sized reel it balances into the chuck, this thing just floats in hand.
