Alpine 6 or 12 Speaker Plug & Play Bundle (8" Front Door Speaker) | '25+ 4Runner

Won't buy from here again.

Speaker kit didn't arrive for nearly 3 weeks and arrived with all the parts labeled "Tacoma" instead for "4Runner". I called to see if this was an error, and the "technical support" person wasn't sure. Then i discovered i was missing a wiring harness. Called again and was told this would ship overnight. This also wasn't done and it was shipped redular mail. Called AGAIN and had this corrected. Really poor attention to detail poor customer serivice. No one answers the phone, chat goes unanswered for hours, emails get returned whenever they get around to it. I won't purchase from here again.

A great upgrade from OEM!

I recently upgraded my system with the Alpine S2-series kit from Trail Grid Pro, featuring the 8" S2-S80C components in the front doors, 6. 5" S2-S65 coaxials in the rear doors, and the 3" S2-S30 midrange speakers in the dash. The improvement in clarity is massive. The dash speakers are incredibly bright with ultra-crisp highs and vocals, which are balanced out perfectly by the mids and deep bass from the 8" and 6. 5" door speakers. It is important to note that an amplifier is a must if you want to get the full effect of these speakers. I used the Beat-Sonic ENA-3T3 Plug & Play Encore Alpha Power Amplifier (also from Trail Grid Pro), which adequately feeds the Alpines and conveniently allowed me to run RCA cables to my separate 12" subwoofer box and amp. Because I already had the 12" sub installed, it is hard to determine if the speakers alone would be a major bass upgrade, but the overall system detail is now phenomenal. Ultimately, the hardware is great, but the top-tier customer service and detailed installation videos from Trail Grid Pro were what led me to this purchase. If you value high-fidelity sound backed by excellent install support, this kit is the way to go.
