The PDT (Poltava) Premium Silver CBN vitrified metal bonded 3000 grit (7/5 µm) is an outstanding stone if you want to prepare the edge for a mirror finish using pastes. It removes almost all scratches. The stone is quite heavy and nearly perfect in terms of flatness, but I still had to prepare and true it. Highly recommended.

Using a little soapy water, I get great results. The stone leaves a nice groove pattern. It's easy to clean the stone again.
