It was as stated in description, it telescopes nicely and will meed our needs for it's inteneded purpose is to have a weather station on top. We have not installed it yet as need to adjust the weather station base to sit atop the pole. Once up and running will update this ost. Pole seems solid as opened it sully in 20mph winds and it wasn't moving at top.
