Great sound, boggy software

I love the sound of these drums, but when I have the GUI up to make adjustments, it completely bogs down protools to where it’s not so fun to have open. Once I close the kontakt 8 gui, everything starts running good again. No other Kontakt program does that. So I’m sure it’s something with RS software that needs to be optimized better to run smoother.

You have to put the work into tweaking the sounds, but once you do the end product is bananas. And now that you can process each channel individually the options are truly endless. I'm still scratching the surface of all that can be done , haven't even touched envelopes or oneshot loaders or any of that jazz . Just the main mixer and sub mixers get an amazing sound already.

Best drum VST right now !

I recently bought it and since then, it is my go-to-go whenever I am playing on my e-kit. Great snares and tuning selection for any sound, great cymbals (K Hybrid are wonderful), thunderous punchy kit with good amount of low end. The mixer is what is selling this one, every channel can be tweaked and processed as you want like some other plugin. And with the quality of the recording (Top Floor studio with wizard Jakob Herrmann), it is just the perfect product for every day drum session, mixing and production. Can't wait to see what is coming next from RS Drums in the future !
