Glossy Locks Repair Conditioner

the conditioner has changed

I've been using Glossy Locks Repair Conditioner and Glossy Locks Moisture Conditioner for years and they really worked great for me. But on my last reorder, I found that the conditioners are different and not as good. They no longer de-tangle for me or leave my hair smooth like they used to. The smell of the moisture conditioner is completely different now (the repair is somewhat the same as it was), which some may like, but I don't really. I contacted the company because I thought there was a mix up and products had been mislabeld. They explained that the production had been moved to a new, on-site location. That sounds great, but it has negatively affected the product for me. I got great customer service and I still love the ingredient lists, but ultimately the conditioners don't work for me anymore. I really loved using them all those years!

Leaves my hair too oily

This is a very dense, moisturizing conditioner, but it must be a little too moisturizing to me because it leaves my hair oily. (I have slightly wavy, dry, frizzy hair, but it also is on the fine side.) I'm not going to rate this poorly because it seems like it could be a good match for some other hair type; it just wasn't a good fit for me. It could work for the tips of the hair for someone with my hair type, but not as the all over conditioner. On another note, this didn't smell quite as good to me as other 100% Pure products. The smell was overpowering and not pleasant in my opinion--that's why I'm deducting a star.

The best Detangling conditioner

I have very thin and curly/wavy hair and I was using the Grow more conditioner to detangle and condition my hair for YEARS before they suddenly changed the manufacturing plant resulting in the formula not doing it's job on my hair (no more detangling). So I decided to try their entire lineup of conditioners to see which one worked best to detangle my hair (and condition it). The best detangler I found is this conditioner. I just need one pass to get my hair smooth. But is it a good conditioner apart from that? No. It leaves my hair frizzy and dry looking. The best conditioner for soft, shiny (not super weighed down) hair is the honey and coconut one.
