Great marketing, overpriced samples
Perfume is subjective so it’s hard to provide a fair review. I personally found the perfume to be overpowering, the vanilla one smells a bit like taboo from the 90’s and the yuzu smells of passion fruit on initial spray which is very sweet and lovely but settles to a powdery smell. Again, this is my personal opinion you might love it. My rating is based on $60 cost to trial the perfumes, which on reflection is too much especially if you don’t like any of them. Great online marketing though with the fabulous blonde, it got me to buy them on impulse hahahaha. The company saves money on overheads by not having a shop front so I feel this saving should be passed on to potential customers by making sampling more affordable.

Love the vanilla, yuzu was my second favourite, and plum the least. I was expecting more from yuzu, but to me it smelt just like a yuzu cocktail - for some they may like that, for me, just not my vibe. Oh and 2 of the sample atomizer sprays broke after initial use. For $60, you’d kind of expect the atomiser to be at least half decent - I had to twist of the atomiser caps in the end and old school dab it onto skin.

I bought this because the Yuzu Juicebox was sold out and I really wanted to smell this. My initial impression was that everyone was right about the YJ - an absolutely stunning scent that everyone should buy. I hadn’t done any research on the other two and I’ll say the Plum On Fire took me by surprise. I immediately disliked it the first time I tried it. It was very punchy and too much like an actual plum on the top. It’s grown on me since then. I’d say it’s a controversial scent. A night scent that might start some conversation. I kinda like it now - it’s interesting. Not a safe blind buy, tho. It finishes a bit medicine-y which I’m not a fan of. Still, it’s worth it just for the interest. I love Vanilla Scents and the Vanilla Venom is not for me. It’s simply unsophisticated. There’s not much layering in my opinion and it’s kind of too simple a scent. That’s a no from me. Overall, the YJ is gorgeous, the POF is interesting and the VV is a no. Still, if you like trying things, this is fun.
