HiFi Rose RS151 Streaming DAC

This Streaming DAC has a lot of great features and an outstanding user app. My favorite feature is the Rose tube app that lets you watch concerts and music videos with no commercials, it is probably the biggest reason for buying this streamer besides the large screen which is pretty good but not perfect when it comes to black levels. As far as the sound, it has a large sound stage with great bass but the highs could be better. It doesn’t have the type of sound to capture your attention if you are doing other things. It doesn’t present details in the music or give that surround effect like my Auralic Altair G2.1. Im still in the burn in stage and I might return it if the sound doesn’t improve more. It sounds sweeter and smoother when i just use it as a streamer transport . It’s too expensive to only sound ok though. I will maybe exchange it for the RS130. We will see. It is a great product if you aren’t too picky about sound quality.
