SideQuest: Volume 1 - A Collection of 5e Solo Adventure Shorts (Hardcover)

SideQuest is an anthology of single-player adventures, in the style of Choose Your Own Adventure gamebooks, created for Dungeons & Dragons in its fifth and latest edition (5e). Each D&D adventure in this anthology is self-contained, unique in themes and environments, and can be played in any order of the player’s choice. Much akin to the Alone Against series for the Call of Cthulhu tabletop role-playing game, each SideQuest adventure consists of a number of varying scenes, or entries, which the player can refer to, depending on the player’s choices and skill rolls. For example, a scene in one adventure may require the player to make an Animal Handling (Wisdom) skill check. If they succeed this check, they may continue to page A. If they fail, they may continue to page B. This anthology of D&D adventures can easily be played alone using pen and paper or digital tools and apps (e.g. D&D Beyond app, PDF character sheets, virtual dice, etc.).

My first solo D&D

Off to a great start so far! I created a character and jumped right in to the first adventure. It was a little light on combat, but really good. I look forward to continuing through the rest of the adventures soon
