AZUMASYUSAKU All-Purpose Japanese Hatchet / Machete Eel Aogami Steel Double Bevel (NATA Knife)

The hooked blade is excellent. It grabs and pulls vines and small branches toward the cutting edge, making clearing brush much easier while also reducing glancing blows that can happen with a straight machete. The steel appears to be high quality—strong, well-made, and it holds up well during heavy use. My only criticism is the handle. It's a bit rough and could use a better finish for comfort during extended use. I may wrap it with hockey tape to improve the grip and cushioning. Overall, it's a solid, well-built tool that performs exactly as I hoped. The hooked blade design is a real advantage for brush clearing.
