The Lamy Al-star pine is a very attractive and affordable fountain pen. The body is made of aluminium with a dark, racing green finish. The green plastic grip is translucent and fits comfortably in the hand. I ordered a fine nib. Although the nib is very stiff, it writes excellently. I would definitely recommend this pen.
