Works ok but the smell was alarming

Not sure if I got a defect product but this mask smells like straight chemicals. I brought the whole snail mucin and mango butter line and the other products have a nice smell. This one just smells like chemicals. It isn’t as moisturizing as I expected it to be but I got it on sale so I’m not too upset.
