Burning orange
I love the look of it. So intense and one of the kind. Can apply for any situation and photoshoot, and at least it will look interesting.

Making the familiar, unfamiliar
Coming home from work a recently I saw the most intense sunrise I had ever seen, the sky, the streets, the buildings were the most intense red colours I had ever seen it was only at its best for a couple of minutes and I was unable to photograph it sadly. This new film from Harman is the nearest I will probably ever come to replicating those scenes, it's great for moody portraits unusual landscapes and weird night shots. A surprisingly good occasional but all round film that makes the familiar unfamiliar

A strong look, so not an all-rounder
This film is Harman Phoenix (original) rolled backwards so that the light goes through the emulsion in the opposite direction, this means the shorter wavelength light is blocked causing the red colour and a reduced ISO sensitivity.
I tried it out as it is a limited edition film and I've never tried redscale film before, the results were interesting but I don't think quite as exciting as other experimental films like Lomo Purple. I would say to treat this like a black and white film and look for compositions with contrast and form rather than use it for travel as I did.
