Brighten X - Non Hydroquinone

It’s a good product but…

It is hard to know for sure whether this product made a significant impact on my post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation after acne, since I treat that a couple different ways. But the ingredient list is so good that if you’re looking for a product to treat hyperpigmentation, this would be a great contender. The downsides include the delivery system. While I like the way a mousse foam applies, it is far too easy to pump out more product than you need. The smell also is pretty off-putting, though fortunately it dissipates once the product is distributed over the skin. 1 bottle lasts about 2 months, so I buy around 5 bottles a year at ~$70 each. Since I am unsure as to the impact of this product on my skin, I’ve decided to stop purchasing it after about two years of use and focus my money more on preventing acne in the first place.

Started my second container of brighten x. I feel my dark spot have lightened. May review again when this container is empty.

Tends to be sticky

This is a foam and the directions say to use a dime sized amount. That is nearly impossible to do. It sprays so fast you always get to much which is wasteful. After application it tends to feel sticky. I had high hopes for this product but because of these two issues I will not purchase again.
