LE Boxter Pony Turnout 50g

I have two brumbies, one is 12’3HH stocky broad shoulders, thick neck and short round body. Always a 5’3rug. The second is 13.3HH very narrow shoulders, skinny neck and long athletic body. Fits best to a 5’3 neckline but 5’6 for body length. If I can’t custom make 5’3’ neck/shoulder and 5’6 body, I get a 5’6 and add darts to the shoulders. I was unable to organise darts at the moment so went with 5’3 for both, sacrificing length over shoulder fit for the taller brumby. He is the one with two white socks in the photos, and you can see the length and tail flap are perfect despite his long body. My littler guy has extra length and bottom coverage being short but I am confident to say both body sizes and types are great in a 5’3 if that helps anyone in the same predicament. The front fastening is fantastic and easy!! No sharp buckles! The neck rug has lots of room to move which I love and the liner is fantastic for extra warmth making the rug more versatile in Melbournes weather!! I have not bought this brand before but will definitely buy again and again! Very impressive!! Thank you!!!

This is my Shetland, Possum with a 4'9". I think the front closure is safer and more comfortable for the horses and it’s quick once you’ve tried it a couple of times. Quality rug and doesn’t move once on. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was the middle belly strap almost reached but didn’t quite do up. Rug stays in place with other two however I purchased a belly strap extender separately and that does the trick.

Excellent pony fit and it has lived through many pony rolly pollys
