Perfect Swedish designed watch found at last
This is a really perfectly crafted watch. It has an attractive case with a combination of brushed and polished steel and a beautifully crafted sandwich (yellow) dial. Its originally designed hands are more than superbly aligned. The bezel action is smooth. The movement (Sellita SW200-1 Elaboré) is 9 seconds a day faster, so quite well within tolerance and has a power reserve sufficient for most situations. Setting the time is a pure pleasure with no play in the crown that you can feel in so many other watches. The lume is far better than elsewhere. I switched a top quality steel bracelet to a rubber strap, but it is my personal preference. The key point however is the perfect fit of all these elements, which creates a very cohesive and truly tempting design. The quality of the individual components exceeds what one can get from larger or more popular brands at a similar price point. Really satisfied with the purchase.

What a beautiful watch and an amazing value. The slightly metalic gold sandwich dial is far more beautiful in person. I visited Göteborg in July of 2025 but was not aware of Tusenö at the time. After seeing the release of the yellow Tudor Bumblebee last month, i went in search of a yellow dial watch. I am far happier with the Tusenö than I would have been with the Tudor. The Shellback V2 is beautifully designed and full of features you don’t often see on a watch under a $1000. The cleaver open circle hour hand as it passes over the shellback name is a lot of fun. The adjustable clasp brushed case with hints of polish, the lovely back and ceramic black coin edge bezel make this an extraordinary watch at two or three times the price. Check out Tusenö - you won’t be sorry. I certainly will be looking forward to another purchase down the road.
