Spinnaker Bradner Pacific Blue

beautiful dial, automatic movement for a seriously awesome price. I love pretty much everything about this watch. The only thing that I noticed is that it has quite a short power reserve and if I don't wear it for a day or so, the movement stops. This is a incredibly minor inconvenience considering what an amazing deal this watch is.

Pacific Bradner face is actually purple

I looked for my perfect watch for months and kept coming back to the Pacific Blue Bradner. The marketing images are all of a particularly lovely light blue ombré. But when it arrived I found that although the bezel is blue, the face is actually clearly a purple hue. They did offer a refund but I still like everything else about it so I'm just hoping that I grow to like the colour mismatch. Everything else is well done, looks and feels above the price point. The only other slight surprise is how easily the internally rotating bezel is actuated by its crown. I worry it could be moved by accidentally brushing against the crown (especially since it rotates both ways, so it isn't safe as a critical timer, say as an oxygen-supply timer) , but I might be worrying over nothing. I won't be taking it off for the foreseeable future.
