Bought the jacket as a gift for someone. I wanted to add pads for more protection. It was a good upgrade compared to what came with the jacket. I’m happy with the purchase

They seem well made. I haven't layed it down, but I am assuming that they are properly functional. The size is accurate, the seem like something I want with me in a crash. The rating is irrelevant as it is only an assumption.
