Beach socks during a whole beach tournament

The socks were shipped fast enough and packaging was fine. I ordered the socks for my team for a beach tournament, and all of them were satisfied with the design and the tight fit. But all of us had the feeling that the socks wouldn't last long, especially during an intense beach tournament weekend. And thus my personal pair had a hole in the back of the sole right after the second game. I think it came from my sliding over the sand and reaching the harder ground beneath the sand (it was an artificial sand beach), so I wasn't really surprised that the fabric was damaged. Still, I had hoped that the socks lastet longer and for another beach tournament, which I doubt now. And my teammates had some damage on ther socks, too. During the tournament I have seen other players with different beach socks made out of more stable fabric. Maybe it would be worth to think about another model with different material. But still, good beach socks!
