Dheisheh Hirbawi® Kufiya

The main portion is grey and the 'flower' (embroidery) is black. It is EXQUISITE. The quality of this keffeyeh does not compare to the three others I own from Palestinian Elegance. The edge tassels are all connected together on a ribbon. Mine has a few tassels sewn into the ribbon portion but I own a seam ripper and sewing machine and could fix it, but I enjoy its wabisabi. The large corner tassels on the others I own are not present on this keffeyeh, possibly a side effect of streamlined production as well. Regardless, the product itself is absolutely divine. Unexpectedly, it smells of the ocean and that scent alone made me cry, knowing that Palestine is right by the Mediterranean Sea and knowing the difficult and treacherous journey it took to reach me. Thank you so much Hirbawi. I will treasure this keffeyeh for my whole life. I plan to get more, but it took me three years to get this one (previously from Abu Wear which never arrived even 3 years after placing the order)
