I love this product by far one of my favorite things. It looks complicated to install, but really it’s not but just a few steps. The instructions are not as clear neither is the video, but it’s not hard to peace together.
I love how easy it is to add to Alexa and how convenient it is by doing so.. my dog has a tag which is amazing as well. I was able to set the sensitivity of how far from the door I want it to be opened and at what percentage also in the amount of time I want the door to close when my dog opens it that is an amazing feature.. i also got the remote which adds to it being even better, at the press of a button the door opens. I don’t have to worry because the door stays locked at all times . it is almost seamless as well. I simply love the smartslydr.

I live in Arizona so in the summer using a doggy door insert in my sliding glass door lets in a lot of heat. When I saw this smart Pet Door I thought I would give it a try.
Installation was relatively easy for my son-in-law.
I spent a week trying to get the sensor in a workable place. My living room is only about 200 sq ft so every time my dog would walk around the door would open. I raised the sensor but when she was outside the sensor wouldn't respond. I ordered a splitter antenna and when I was setting it up I came across what the "send request" setting in the pet pass option was and I started using that. Everything works perfectly now. I only set the pet pass to automatic when I leave the house.

This is the perfect smart dog door. It works perfectly and is a necessity during the hot summers in Arizona where the dogs line to go in and out frequently but u don’t want to lever the door open.
