1770's Waistcoat

I really like the wool waistcoat and linen breeches. The waistcoat is a little different design than the 1760’s waistcoats I own. It’s a little shorter in length than the 1760’s style. I’m 5’6” 180 lbs. with a 40 inch chest and 42 inch waist. The size 42 fits just right for me. The linen breeches fit well and are much cooler in the heat of summer. With my 42 inch waist the recommended size was 40 for me. They fit well with tying them up in the back of the waist and leave some room to tuck the shirt tail in and not be tight on the waist. The breeches are very comfortable and not as thick as the wool breeches. Im very happy with the purchases I’ve made from Samson Historical. I’m slowly getting sll my needed things gathered for my Mid to Late 18th century persona.
