So far, I'm happy with it.
I bought this waistcoat in navy blue wool a month ago to go with a kilt outfit that arrived a week ago. I didn't like how the collar looked in the picture, so I paid the extra bit to have it removed before sending it. After it arrived, I had to make a modification to it so it'd work better with a kilt. I had to angle the bottom front to accommodate a sporran. Unlike the woolen short jacket, this seems to be rather well made. It fits well, looks great, and arrived faster than expected. I'll likely wear this more frequently than the short jacket, so I really hope it holds up better. I'll update if anything changes.
