Not Good
I purchased because this winter was extremely dry. When I first got the unit, I was happy. The design is nice and the sound is quiet. I also like the large tank. But after a month, it stopped drawing water up. I contacted support and they recommended I descale the unit. I did and it worked again! So I ordered a second one. But when the second one arrived, I thought it was a refurbished unit being passed as new because there was a black dog hair in it, scratches inside the unit and the filter seems used because there were a few strands of fabric sticking out of it. Then the old unit stopped pulling water up again. I once again descaled but this time, it didn’t fix the problem. I have contacted support asking to exchange the unit that’s not working-I would have returned it but I am at 2.5 months in and the return window is 30 days. I have also asked to return the second one I purchased (I tried to return on-line but I keep getting an error message) because I don’t want to deal with this product anymore. I am waiting to hear from support because it does take them a few days to respond. So, no, I don’t recommend.

Effective so far
Seems to humidify adequately, but I’ve noticed in the last few days, the air coming out of it smells eerily similar to that of a soggy dog. I’ve only been running it for a little less than two weeks, mind you. If that’s any indication of the expected life on the filter, I’m unimpressed. I’m hoping there is a simple solution to that, as otherwise, it seems to keep up very well, even in my dry climate with the wood stove running.

God initially
On the surface, this humidifier is great. But once you start using it, you will discover it has a few major flaws. The most major one is the fact that you cannot clean the internals easily. Their instructions ask you to soak the machine weekly in acetic acid, but this doesn't get everything. In order to physically clean the pump, you have to unscrew 4 screws and there are plenty of hard to reach areas and corners that are clearly not intended for user maintenance. Secondly, the machine randomly decides to go back to Auto mode occasionally, I suspect when it thinks it has reached around 30% humidity or so, even though all my schedules are set to turn on in Manual and then turn off. This means that I can't trust the humidifier to be constantly running - I have to check on it a couple times a day. There are also some other minor issues like filling the unit from the top is very slow, takes a long time, and never fully drains the water, among others.
