48 in. McLeod Fire Tool - JJ Review

My wife & I have a lot of large fires. She has a tendency to be pretty hard on equipment, so I bought this for her to use as a fire-tender tool, as other alternatives (iron rakes, shovels, etc.) don't ever seem to make the trip. So far, we've used it on a couple of big burns and have not been disappointed! This tool is stout and well built. It has enough weight to carry momentum while pushing half-burned debris from the outside of the fire to toward the middle and my wife loves the versatility of the tined & flat combo on the working end of the tool. If I had to give 1 con, I would've liked to see a 60" handle vs the 48", but that is it. I would definitely buy it again, if this one ever breaks LOL!
