Best for moderate temperatures.
The hat has ear flaps and I got it for temperatures of 40 to 60°. I had the opportunity to wear it once and I think it’ll be adequate. I would not wear it in lower temperatures because the flaps do not hug the ears and that allows air to seep in.

Cozy hat
Perfect hat for PNW winters. It is very cozy to wear with the ear flaps down. I look a little like Elmer Fudd, but the dog doesn’t seem to care.

Comfortable and great fit!
This thing fits comfortably and is snug...exactly what you want in a cold weather environment. Will be using it this weekend out in Anza Borrego desert area while camping.
