'Hugs and Kisses' Barrenwort (Epimedium)

So far, so good

I'm in zone 9b, the hot Sacramento Valley, not the best place to try this, but I've grown another variety successfully in the past, so I have my fingers crossed that it will thrive. It's in shade, in well amended soil, and watered regularly. It's not actively growing, but does not appear distressed. We haven't moved into 100 degree weather yet, so I'm holding my breath. If this does not make it, I can't blame the plant, I'm really stretching it's tolerance to try it here. The plant arrived in good condition, and was larger than expected, which was nice.
